We order and use the curriculum that is setup by ABeka for each age group (except for the Bible Activity Book). Most daycare/preschool programs only utilize a couple of the books for their program and then add their own to it. We teach directly from ABeka and then utilize the Hooked on Phonics for Reading as an addition in the K4/K5 program. The Hooked on Phonics is at no extra charge to the parents since there are no books for the children to work in. All of the ABeka curriculum is given to the individual child to work in while here at the Learning Center and at home. Work is sent home each day to show parents what work their child has done for that day.
We feel that your children should be learning while in our care; not just through active play, but also through actual workbook time. ABeka is a Christian-based program and teaches children about the love of Jesus and how to treat others. We also work on one memory verse each week which teaches the Word of God and puts it in their hearts. Children may not understand the full meaning of the Word just yet, but later in life they may remember a verse that they learned and it can help them in a trying time of their life. We believe that if you can instill the Word in a childat a young age they will not depart from it. The Bible teaches this andwe have found that it is true! Chapel is done on a daily basis where your child will learn songs and stories from the Bible. Prayer is taught by praying for all of the cihildren, their families, their animals, our country, and our leaders.
